Jesse Himmelstein
GAME LAB DIRECTOR
Dr. Jesse Himmelstein is the director of the CRI GameLab. Before working in games, he earned a PhD in robotics. He continued his research career in computer science and virtual reality in a business context. He has coordinated a number of EU projects such as Citizen Cyberlab, CHESS, Indigo, and V-City. He has taught classes in game design and programming. He co-founded the club Gamelier to unite the Paris game development community around experimental and educational games.
Alexandre Vaugoux
GAME LAB MANAGER
Alexandre Vaugoux is GameLab Manager and former community and content manager for the CRI development team. After studying sociology and anthropology in Francois Rabelais University, Alexandre went to Vancouver as a visitor student in Simon Fraser University school of communication to study multimedia storytelling. This was followed by a graduate degree in transmedia storytelling at Sciences Po Grenoble. During his studies he had opportunities to work as community manager and project manager on transmedia, web and audiovisual projects.
Mourdjen Bari
GAME DEVELOPER
I am employed at the GameLab in the Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity as a game designer, developer and programmer. My work includes development of scientific research and educational games themed on topics like autism, theoretical physics, women empowerment and social change. I often organize. I am also the founder of OCEAN- Open Collective Endeavours for an Autism Network. I am the CTO of Hand'On, a startup developing an educative and pedagogic platforms for schools and universities.
Benjamin Misiak
GAME DEVELOPER
I am currently working at the CRI (Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity) Game lab where I’m holding positions of Game Designer, Programmer, playtest coordinator, video game programming instructor and game design instructor. At the CRI Game Lab, I’ve worked on games for raising social awareness, educational games aimed at autistic children and some other scientific games. I am also working at University of Lorraine where I teach Game Design & Serious Game for M1 students in cognitive science. Finally, I am learning philosophy at University Paul Valery in distance learning.
Gayathri Gopalakrishnan
USER EXPERIENCE INTERN
Gayathri Gopalakrishnan is a User Experience Designer. She is currently pursuing her Master degree with a Major in Human Computer Interaction and Design and a Minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the EIT Digital Master School. After her Bachelor degree in Bioinformatics and a brief stint at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, she worked as a Gamification Designer at Tata Consultancy Services. With experience is diverse fields including Life Sciences, Education, Gamification and UX, she focuses on a human-centered approach to innovation.
Leïla Satsou
GAME DESIGN INTERN
Leïla is from Reunion Island and moved to Paris four years ago. She will soon be graduating with a master degree in game design, and plans to pursue another master degree as a producer. She is very interested in narrative game design and tries to create immersive stories to make players aware about different topics.
Radhika Beaume
Graphic designer
Radhika joined the CRI in early 2017 as a graphic designer. She learned Game Art at ISART DIGITAL. After working for several years as a web / print designer in Paris, she joined the IncLudo project team. Her mission within the CRI is to create new graphics for board games and video games, advise researchers, teachers and students and organize playtests of games. She loves drawing (traditional / digital) and painting.
Liburn Jupolli
Sound design intern
From the age of 12 he began to compose and to study music theory and composition taking private lessons in parallel with piano studies. Finished primary and high school of music in piano studies and 2 years of composition with prof. Zeqiria Ballata at the University of Prishtina. Since 2004 he has written music for theater, film, animation, visual and conceptual productions, games in the Balkans and Europe, and has written works for instrumentalists and ensembles from Kosovo and abroad. He also works on design and remodeling of new instruments, and since 2010 he finished in 5 original instruments.

Ameya Murukutla
Trivia design intern
As a masters student at the CRI, Ameya researched and wrote all the trivia questions for the Pin My State game. She is currently pursuing her PhD on incorporating Augmented Reality technology in Anatomy Education at INRIA, Grenoble. She aims to integrate the principles of cinematography, storyboarding, computer graphics and machine learning to make spatial anatomy easy and engaging.

Patrice Crespy
Narrative designer (freelance)
Patrice has worked for over eight years as Creative Director, Lead Narrative Designer, Game Writer, and Senior Producer, and have successfully launched, overseen and completed several video games from concept to release during those years. He have designed game narratives, and interactive stories for all the major French companies in the field of Serious Gaming such as the European TV channel Arte, the National channel M6, La Française des Jeux, NOD-A, and the National State Institute of Research and Innovation (INRIA). Patrice did the narrative design for the polished version of Another Day.
Aymeric Faucher
Game programmer
Before working as a dev at the CRI, Aymeric studied computer science and was a student at the 42 school for 3 years. He now works on video game development for the Game Lab. Aymeric did the programming for the polished version of Another Day.
